Water restored to thousands of Glasgow homes

Water supplies have been restored to thousands of properties in north Glasgow and Bishopbriggs. Scottish Water engineers worked through the night on the “difficult repair” which followed a mains failure.

This led to low pressure and a loss of supply to about 9,500 properties, with bottled water being provided. However, about 5,500 properties in the Barlornock, Royston and Millerston areas of Glasgow will continue to experience temporary loss of supply. Source
