The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Industry, H E Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, yesterday said Qatar was working on reducing the heavy cost of water desalination by developing cutting-edge technologies. Premier Dalton McGuinty spent Earth Day in London, where he visited Purifics ES Inc., a local clean-water technology company. The Premier also chaired a round-table discussion with local industry experts.
